History

a mixture of soda straws, stalactites and helictites.
1887 the area was reserved for stock camping.
1910 discovered by Frederick Wilson.
1913 opened to the public.
1930s Caves Reserve created.

Description

Royal Cave is famous for its beautiful calcite-rimmed pools. To open it to the public, an entrance tunnel had to be dug first. The most impressive formations are Niagara Falls and the Font of the Gods.
