Description

The Grotte de Bellevue is a small cave famous for its overwhelming and abundant speleothems. It is only 250 m long and one of the few caves in the area without cave paintings. On the other hand, it shows stalactites, stalagmites, draperies, and excentriques (helictites).

This cave was closed as a show cave many years ago. There are remains of the former ticket office with bar and some tables. But it is not possible to visit the cave any more. Unfortunately, it is still listed on many tourist cave inventories, even with entrance fees in Euro, which gives the impression the cave is still open.
