History

Description

Devil's Ice Box is located at Nelson Kennedy Ledges State Park and reached on a short hike on Devil's Icebox Loop Trail. The trail has numerous interesting features, like the ice cave, a narrow gorge-like section named The Squeeze, and a waterfall called Cascade Falls. It starts at the parking lot at Nelson Ldege Road. The Yellow Trail leads to Cascade Falls, and the caves Old Maid's Kitchen, Dwarf's Pass, and The Narrows. The red trail leads to Fat Man's Peril, and the three trails White, Blue and Red finally meet at Devil's Ice Box.
