History

Description

The tour into Outlaw Cave is one among numerous attractions at the Kentucky Action Park. Other possible rides are bumper cars, riding stables, carriage ride, mini golf, go carts, and chair lift. The tour includes the ride with the "cave van" to the cave entrance down in the valley and back up. The cave is also wheelchair accessible, which is rather uncommon for cave, unfortunately the van is not, so those visitors have to drive to the entrance themselves. The road to the cave offers nice views into the valley.

This area has been frequented by outlaws during the 19th century, including Jesse James. The cave was named Outlaw Cave as it is said, it was used by the outlaws as a hideout.
