Cheondong cave, named after the village it is located at, is a very recent discovery. It was found in 1977 by a local and declared a National Monument in the same year. It is located between Pirobong Peak and YonHwabong Peak, the main peaks of Mt. Sobaeksan.
Only 470 m in length this cave is famous for the delicacy and beauty of its speleothems.
