Kardzhali Province


Област Кърджали (Oblast Kărdžali, Kardzhali Province) is located at the southern border of Bulgaria to Greece. It is mostly covered by the Rhodopes, a mountain ridge which consitst mostly of marble. There are cave in the area because the marble is karstified, but there are no tourist sites. The two listed caves are noted for their looks, they are compared to female genitals, which is quite unique.
