  Two cavers from Walbrzych visited several caves in Armenia. The caves are located between the towns Areni, Agarakadzor, and Gnishik i Khachik. They are formed in limestones and conglomerates.

  The book mainly describes man-made caves which are of great archaeological interest. Mazeli Cave, is a karst cave which is described in some detail, with a survey.
