Рэспубліка Беларусь

Republic of Belarus

Belarus, landlocked between Poland and Russia, is relatively flat with large areas of marshy land. These geographic features prevent underground drainage and karstification pretty well, the result is a lack in natural caves. There are actually a few limestone areas, but now caves open to the public. There are also very few mining activities, except for potassium salt. As a result, the biggest potassium salt mine is also the only underground site we can offer so far.
