Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu province is even too long and complicated for the locals, so it is abbreviated BRVT. It is located at the southern end of the country, the coastal province is very small, but includes several small archipelagos off the coast. The administrative center of the province was Vung Tau, but moved to Ba Ria city. This explains the double name of the province.
The province has four regions: peninsula, islands, semi-midland hills and mountains, and coastal plain valleys. The peninsula is more or less the city Vung Tau, flat lowlands and not suitable for caves. The same applies for the coastal plain valleys. The islands are mostly karstified limestone, although they are not exactly tower karst. The hilly and mountainous north and northeast have some karst and caves. However, there is only one cave of touristic interest, a small cave church.
