Qarku I Durrësit

Qarku I Durrësit (Durrës County) is located in the northeast bordering the Mediterranean Sea. The capital city is Durrës with some 175,000 inhabitants. It covers the flat alluvial and coastal plain called the Western Lowlands. In other words the geology is not suitable for caves except for the few hills at the western border.
