County Sligo (/ˈslaɪɡoʊ/ SLY-goh, Irish: Contae Shligigh) is located in the northwest of Ireland, and full of celtic remains, like stone cicles, cairns and archaeological excavations. There is also the largest Irish karst area which runs from Sligo to Fermanagh, a County in Northern Ireland, crossing County Leitrim. The most famous sight here are the Caves of Kesh, which are mentioned in various legends. The main tourist destination of the karst area are the Marble Arch Caves, the only show cave, which is located in Fermanagh.
