Ebonyi State

Ebonyi is a state in the southeast of Nigeria named after the Abonyi (Aboine) River. It has a humid tropical climate, with a rainy season lasting 8 months and a dry season lasting 4 months. Mineral resources include lead, crude oil, and natural gas, but there are few large-scale mines. The Okposi and Uburu Salt Lakes are huge salt deposits and popular tourist destinations.
