Southern Karst Region

Actually there is no such thing as a Southern karst region. The official map shows coastal plans, the central cordillera, and the Northern Karst. But more detailed maps show numerous smaller karst areas in the south, actually the island has the same structure on teh southern slopes as on the northern slopes. But as the southern karst areas are not connected, and they are much smaller and less spectacular, they are often overseen. Nevertheless, there are numerous caves and at least two of them are visited by cave trekking tours.
