The Absurdities of Guided Cave Tours

Strange Terminology

This page is actually empty. We found a lot of strange terms in German Cave tours, which are based on a history of show caves which is about 150 years old. Old terms, which were abandoned by science, are still used by cave guides, which are not aware that they were abandoned. Old theories, which were proven wrong, are still presented as truth. Even non-scientific theories by non-scientists are presented as truth. Unfortunately we have no first-hand examples in English. The German version of this page on the other side is quite funny.
