מחוז הצפון (Mekhoz HaTzafon, Northern District) is the northernmost of Israel’s six administrative districts. Famous are the largest city Nazareth and the Sea of Galilee, infamous are the Golan Heights and the ongoing war-like situation in the northeastern parts [2024]. The district borders three countries, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan.
