Drilon Spring is the source of the Drilon River, located in the village Gurras, so the spring is also known as Gurras Spring. The Drilon River flows north for about 1.2 km, then it flows into Lake Ohrid. The water comes underground through water-filled caves from the swallow holes along Lake Prespa in the west. Quite similar springs are St. Naum Springs 3 km to the east in Macedonia.
However, it seems the karst spring itself is not actually a tourist site. Though it is of spectacular size, there is no car park and no trails. The actual site is not a karst feature, it is the lowest part of the Drilon River, the last 150 m. This part is like a park and is named the National Park of Drilon. It is surrounded by numerous restaurants and cafés.
