Mulwaree Cave is actually the upper level of the expansive Wollondilly Cave, It is said to be one of Wombeyan’s most spectacular caves. It is also a little strenuous, as there are 226 steps to negotiate along the only 200 m long trail, which is the reason why this short tour takes one hour. As it requires some fitness, only a small part of the visitors is interested in this tour. As a result the cave is open only on long weekends, when the caves have the highest visitor numbers. If you are with a group we recommend strongly to arrange a visit.
