Табашка пещера (Tabashka pestera, Tobacco Cave) is located in the city of Lovech, at the shores of the Osam River which flows through the city. Just follow the alley "Bash Bunar" along the banks of the Osam River to the hydroelectric plant, then keep right and follow the signs to the Tabashka cave. The cave is quite spacious and offers a great view across the river.
There is a strange story about the cave, in which six gold spiral pendants and a piece of an arc-shaped object were discovered. They were discovered by speleologists and there is no stratigraphic context. Finally, they made their way to the Depot of the Historic Museum in Lovech. They were registered in 1987 but were wrongly attributed to originate from Vasil Levski Cave. They are dated by their design to the early Bronze Age.
