History

Description

Hatchet Bay Cave is located south of Surfer's Beach and named after nearby Hatchet Bay. The cave has graffiti by 19th century cave visitors, and an impressive collection of stalactites and stalagmites. Despite being popular which resulted in a sort of trail, the cave is not developed at all. As allways we recommend enough light (at least two lamps per person), sturdy boots and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
