Description

The Domaines Rouvinez is a famous vinery on the Colline de Géronde (Hill of Geronde) near Sierre. They offer vinery tours which include a visit to the cellar, to the vineyard, and a tasing of six different wines. The microclimate is ideal for the wines, also the steep slopes of the hill which increases the amount of sun the grapes get. The tour includes a visit of the underground cellar of the domain, which contains numerous huge oak casks in which the specialty, «Barrique-Chai» is produced.
