History

Description

樵山神仙洞 (Qiáo shānshén xiāndòng, Woodcutter’s Cave of Immortals) is one of dozens of Immortals' caves. This one is located at the hamlet Qiaoshan, which is located in forests and thus the name actually means Woodcutters. This cave is quite remote, reached on a 1.5-hour drive on a narrow road, although it is actually only 14 km northeast of Huangshan City as the crow flies. Hope that you will not meet a bus or lorry on the narrow road, enjoy the mountainous landscape and the smell of the trees.
