Hantongshan Shenxian Dong is a Taois cave temple located southeast of Yantai City. It was hewn into the rock duing the Yuan era. There are six different caves, four bigger ones in the upper level, and two smaller ones in the lower level. The caves contain 36 sculptures of various Taoist immortals, which were carved out of marble. The place is still a monastery with monks looking for the caves.
