The Cova des Pont (Bridge Cave) was named after a bridge, which was built in front of the entrance to reach the cave. Before there was an 8 m deep drop to the entrance. This cave was discovered in 1884 and developed as a show cave in 1897, because of an agriculture fair in Manacor. It stayed open for some years until it was finally sold and closed. Today only little remains of the former development.
To visit this cave it is necessary to walk 2 km from the Cala Varques at Manacor. The cave is closed by a gate.
