Casas Cueva La Tala is a part of the above ground hotel Cortijo Palacete La Tala, which is probably the most remote hotel in Spain. To reach it its necessary to exit motorway A-92N at an unsigned exit, ignore the small restaurant and ring at the gate, which blocks the road in the middle of nowhere. After the gate was opened follow the single lane road for about one kilometer through an enormous field of solar panels, and down some serpentines into a dry valley of the Robla de Baza. The cave houses can be seen along the descent, there are three of them. The hotel is a stately 18th-century farmhouse. The hotel has a summer swimming pool with over 200 m², gardens with centuries-old trees, and a paddle tennis court, a pétanque court and other ball games.
