2005 | artificial cave opened. |
The Caldecotte Project, or Action4Youth’s Caldecotte Xperience, at Milton Keynes is supported by HRH The Duke of Gloucester. He inaugurated the new artificial cave system built of concrete in 2005. The cave is more than 100 m long and used for caving courses for children, called Caving for Young People. Participants get helmets and lamps and then they learn all the necessary techniques to climb, slither, push and navigate through a cave. As far as we see only one experience is omitted: cave clay. You actually don't get dirty.
