The Cave Museum is also known as Free visit to cave house or Underground Caves. All those names are more like descriptions than an actual name. We guess the site has no name, but there is a sign on the wall which says "Authentic Traditional Underground CAVES Free to visit!" All those names are actually abbreviations of this sign.
It is actually not a traditional cave house, we guess it is an old cellar. It is entered through a sort of cellar door and down a short staircase. It shows the volcanic tufa on the bare walls, and niches in the walls. There are a few typical household items, like a hand-driven flour millstone, some pots and the model of a sailboat. The most annoying thing is actually that there are no explanations at all. However, if you visit the city, it a must to have a look.
This is not a venue, they do not sell anything, they take donations though. On the other hand, there are no explanations, no guidebook, no website, and no Greek name. Just a cave house which is open and free to visit.
