The Cueva de las Minas (Cave of the Mines) is a small cave, a 50 m long tunnel without any speleothems. But despite looking like an artificial tunnel it seems to be a natural cave and was used by the Mayas for religious purposes. Today it is part of the Cueva de las Minas Ecological Park which has many activities to spend a day full of nature between trails, zoo, swimming pools, canopy and much more.
