Guha Siluman (Ghost Cave), was named so because of various local legends which tell about spirits and ghosts which roam the cave. The cave is also called Buniayu Cave, a combination of the Sundanese words buni meaning hidden and ayu meaning beautiful. So literally the name could be translated the Hidden Beauty.
The cave is developed with concrete paths and electric light, and has some fine speleothems. This cave is located in the Nyalindung karst area, which consists of 60 million years old Tertiary limestones.
