Kumganggul (Kumgang Cave) is a religious cave. The huge portal of the cave opens in the middle of the cliff face, high up at Miruk peak. Once extremely remote and difficult to reach, it was an ideal place for meditation and used by hermits. Today trail and a modern staircase leads up to cave, and there is no technical difficulty. Still it is high up at the mountain, and the way up is strenuous. But the view and the cave make it worthwile.
