Description

கீரிமலை புனித தீர்ந்த கேணி (Keerimalai Sacred Water Spring) is a quite exceptional spring right at the sea. It was transformed into a swimming pool and is quite popular. The water contains minerals, especially limestone and is reputed for its curative properties. Actually it is just a karst water spring, the end of a water-filled cave system which drains the northern tip of Sri Lanka.
