Description

Манастирска Пештера (Monastery Cave Restaurant) is an underground restaurant built into caves, which were once part of the nearby Успение на Пресвета Богородица (Holy Mother of God Monastery). As it is located in a gorge, the cave actually has a balcony or beer garden. It is also called Mećkina dupka (Bear Hole). It was originally a natural cave, but was altered to the needs of the cave restaurant. Inside the cave is a fountain with natural spring water and living trout and crabs, which are served at the restaurant. The restaurant serves local specialities, venison, fish and seafood.
