Grotto Tavern is a restaurant located in the center of Rabat, right in front of the church. It has the so-called Cave Room or The Cave, which they state is a cave of Roman origin and 2,000 years old. The cave is part of the restaurant, and it’s possible to dine at the Cave Room. However, seeing the food on the online pictures we strongly recommend eating before you go. This is one of those Neil Gaiman moments. Famine, one of the Four Riders of the Apocalypse operates a fine dining establishment with dishes with very few bites of actual edible matter. Satisfied Famine states: “I have never seen a room full or rich people so hungry before.” The cellar is great.
