Location:	Phnom Chhngok. From Kampot town follow Kep road east for 7 km, at Kbal Meas turn left at the Garuda statue in the crossroads. 6 km to a small village, on the main crossing keep straight, after 140 m, behind the water channel, turn right, 500 m to the hill.

History

Description

This is one of the more prominent cave temples of Cambodia. It contains a sort of chapel built of red sandstone. After you paid the small fee you are free to explore the whole cave on your own. Most parts have rather rough trails, a result of many visitors. Also there are local guides for hire.
