The Atlantic Cave is a cave replica which resembles a karst cave with stalactites and stalagmites. It is the decoration for a part of the National Aquarium of Abu Dhabi. The cave replica is named after the topic of the aquarium in this section, the animals living in the Atlantic Ocean sea caves. Animals such as lobsters and sea sponges hide in small caves along the coast from larger predators so they can breed safely. The cave is nevertheless wrong, as sea caves look quite different from karst caves. In other words, despite the name "cave" the decoration and the topic are not related. On the other hand, the cave replica is well done and definitely worth a visit.
The National Aquarium Abu Dhabi has 10 thematic zones where it shows 46,000 animals of 330 unique species. They are specialized on the wildlife of the Arabian Gulf, and rescue, rehabilitate and release native wildlife of the Abu Dhabi Emirate. This is definitely worth a visit, you should plan a full day.
