Cueva Palacio del Rey (King's Palace Cave) has a narrow entrance which leads to a series of chambers which show impressive speleothems. The cave was named because the pillars resemble a lush kings palace. The cave is visited on guided tours and is gated. It was known for a long time to the locals, but the first speleologic exploration was in 2003. The single passage has no side branches and ends in a collapse. It is interpreted as a fossil level of the resurgence of Peña Blanca, located further down.
