Tham Khao Luang (Khao Luang Cave) is located inside the homonymous hill. It is a huge chamber used as a cave temple, with more than 180 Buddha statues. Khao Luang Cave is regarded as the most important cave temple of Petchaburi because is houses a dressing Buddha image cast by the royal command of King Chulalongkon as a dedication to King Nang Klao and King Mongkut.
The huge cave chamber has numerous opening in the ceiling, which allows the sunlight to fall in. So the whole cave temple is well lit naturally.
