Description

The full name of this place is Anatolian Houses Cave Hotel & Spa, and it actually says it all: this is a hotel which was built into the historic cave houses of the area. All the rooms are suites, actually each room is full underground house which was once home to a large family. When we first listed the hotel 20 years ago it was one of the most expensive, but the rooms are quite luxurious and there is the swimming pool and wellness area. And there is the Ala Cappadocia Restaurant, which is also in a cave and offers typical Cappadocian cuisine, which includes hamburgers. We were quite astonished when we reviewed the site now, and found that the rooms are now cheaper than 20 years ago. We guess that’s a result of the increasing number of cave hotels in the area which represent quite considerable competition. The prices we give are not really accurate, as they actually differ over the year and between high and low season. We tried to find the highest price in Summer, just to give a basic impression. Use their online booking system to get the actual price.
