Elika Cave Suites are quite proud to be "one of the most privileged, most private, most peaceful, tranquil places in the world". We waited for the mad superlative, and then it came: it "is the most luxurious hotel in the world, Europe’s Best Honeymoon Hotel, Turkey’s Best Design Hotel and Turkey’s newest luxury hotel". There has been a real boom here in this village, and there is now a hotel in every third house. However, the architecture is quite interesting and the historic cave houses are well renovated. Ther are 18 cave rooms, 8 stone rooms, and 26 regular rooms above the surface. We can not tell you much about the caves or the houses, but with so many superlatives we actually excpected very high prices. But that’s not the case, there are cheaper hotels but the price is still acceptable.
