History

Description

Kayakapı Mahallesi (Cave Gate Hotel) was named after the neighbourhood, where the hotel is located. The name is derived from the fact that there are numerous cave houses. The Kayakapı Neighborhood is owned by the municipality of Ürgüp. They have leased it for half a century to the Dinler family, who operates the hotel. They also operate day tours and hot air balloon flights.
