Gila Cliff Dwellings is a series of cliff dwellings built into natural sandstone cave along Gila River in southwest New Mexico, hence the name. The caves are quite spacious for erosional sandstone caves, so the buildings are actually errected inside a cave and not along a cliff face like most dwellings at Mesa Verde or Montezuma.
