Rockwoods Cave is an introductory crawl cave, which means you will get dirty but do not need climbing skills or equipment. It is much fun for kinds, and the tours are designed to be very informative about caves and cave live. However, it is very low and much of the visit is done by crawling. This cave is definitely not suitable for people with claustrophobia.
For a trip into this cave bring your own equipment, which should include a helmet, sturdy shoes or rubber boots, three sources of light, and clothes to change afterwards. Your clothes will definitely get dirty and probably be damaged, so bring old ones. A long-sleeved shirt and heavy pants are recommended.
