Hẻm Tu Sản Mã (Tu San Canyon) is an 800 m deep gorge which is actually the deepest in Vietnam. On a length of 1.7 km it is 800 m deep, the almost vertical walls are about 70 to 100 m apart. The river is dammed 1.4 km downstream, so the gorge has a really calm lake instead of a river. The river is named Sông Nho Quế. The best viewpoint is located at QT4C road and is named Duong Hanh Phuc Ma Pi Leng (Mã Pí Lèng Pass Viewpoint). There is also a jetty at the southern shore of the river, about 400 m upstream of the dam, where boat tours through the gorge are offered. The boat tours are quite popular, its even possible to have lunch on the boat during the ride.
