Description

所各邑村 (Suogeyicun) is the name of a small village, cun actually translates "village". However, the listed site is not the village, it’s the surrounding stone forest, which is a part of the UNESCO World Heritage site South Chinese Karst. 石林 (Shilin, Stone Forest) is actually the whole area, which shows thousands of patches of stone forests separated by fields and roads. The main site is simply named Shilin, also Naigu Stone Forest. But this spot here is named after the village Suogeyi Village Stone Forest, and is far less well known and far less crowded.
