History

Description

Středověká Krčma (Medieval Pub) is located in the city center, at Náměstí Svobody (Liberty Square). A rather unimpressive entrance leads down a long staircase into the Medieval cellar vaults with barrel vaulted ceiling. The cellars are quite impressive, the decor is rustic, the honey wine is served in stones, they are designed to resemble a Medieval inn from 1304. Such Middle Ages themed restaurants often offer special meals, typical music, and a lot of information about the habits of that time. This one is more like a restaurant, but there are sometimes events. All in all it's not a "real" Medieval meal, it's a restaurant with a medieval touch.
