The Manatial Agua Fría (Cold Waters Spring) is a natural karst spring, but as it is quite spectacular with blue water, it has been developed as a sort of public swimming pool. There are trails, restaurants and barbecue areas located all around the spring. The spring is located east of the state capital Colima, at the river Río Picachos. From the spring the water forms a short tributary named Agua Fría which flows into Río Picachos after only 750 m.
