The Fatumea Cave Pool is a sweet water spring at the end of a lava tube named Piula Cave. It is also called Piula Cave Pool. It is not possible to enter the cave. The lava tube ends at the sea, but the erosion of the waves destroyed the lower end of the cave and formed a short valley, a sort of roofless cave. This is the location of the 25 m long and 11 m wide pool, which is only 12 m from the sea. It is located on the grounds of the Piula Theological College which does its best to maintain the pool and its facilities.
