Description

The Alofaaga Blowholes are several impressive blowholes located at the volcanic south coast of Savaii. The saltwater shoots tens of meters into the sky if there are strong waves. Locals crawl into one blowhole and throw a coconut inside at just the right time. Seconds later it shoots through the rock and up into the air, dancing on a giant spout. It looks like a cartoon, but is probably more dangerous. We suggest to keep away from the blowholes and leave those stunts to the locals.
