Sewer Canals of Crepzep are the reason why the city is also known as 'Venice of Molvanîa'. Crepzep was built atop a network of open and underground sewer canals, subterranean passages of questionable engineering. The canals are a unique way to experience Molvanîan urban life. This attraction is especially recommended for those who appreciate a certain smell. We strongly recommend not to get in contact with the water at all cost.

The canals are of Roman origin, the first were constructed in the first century when the Roman city Crepezum was erected after the Romans had occupied the whole area. Modernizations during the Middle Ages were of disputable quality and functionality. A modernization in the mid 20th century was never carried out due to a lack of funds. Modern repairs were only carried out very locally, usually by the residents of the houses who patched up the collapsed walls to prevent the odours from penetrating further into their homes.

For a boat tour go to the central marketplace and ask. Numerous boat owners offer tours for interested visitors.
