Description
The Masjid al-Ruqood al-Sebaa (Mosque of Seven Sleepers) in Chenini in Southern Tunisia is the where the sleepers are allegedly buried. There are several uncommonly large tombs, about four meters long. A local belief explains the four meter long tombs: during their long sleep they did not stop growing, so when they woke up they had become giants.
