The guide lives in the house near the cave entrance. Although the cave has just been opened to visitors, the public are not informed of the dangers of histoplasmosis.
After 200 m the magnificent entrance vestubule decreases in cross section to a small, slightly ascending cave passage. The entrance passages contain masses of speleothems and a large colony of bats.
